Dear SASPAC/Census User,

Below is a summary of census and SASPAC activity for May.

Scottish outputs: Single year of age population estimates for Council Areas in Scotland will be released on 23 July. Census Output Area boundaries and lookup tables will also be released at this time.24/05/13

Next Census release: Phase 3.2 of Census data will be released on 28 June and will include 31 housing-related tables for LA/UA in E&W. Postcode headcount and household estimates will also be released. 29/05/13

SASPAC v9.82 update: Phase 3.1 of Census data was published and included 42 Detailed Characteristic tables for LA/UA in E&W. These are downloadable from our website and available via an updated version of SASPAC. 24/05/13

New travel to work data: Commissioned table (CT0045) provides method of travel to work data for wards in E&W - comparable with 2001. CT0050 has since been released and provides the same data down to Output Area level. These are downloadable from the ONS website ad-hoc tables page and will be in SASPAC shortly. 15/05/13

SASPAC data release: 2011 Census population centroids and new Quick Statistics tables are available to download for SASPAC. 7/05/13

1991 Census data now online: All 1991 Census datasets for all Census geographies have been added to the SASPAC website. 2/05/13
